Location
Every HIGHPOINT home is situated within a 0.75 km radius of Queens’ main campus and the downtown area. Located mainly in area 1 of Queen’s zoning, our tenants are minutes away from school and amenities such as banks, grocery stores, gyms, restaurants and Kingston’s entertainment district.
Safety
Emergencies are addressed rapidly and efficiently through our repair staff, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We acknowledge maintenance receipts within 24 hours of receipt and follow up with status update reports. Our properties are equipped with reliable and well-maintained appliances. Most properties also include laundry and parking services.

Our homes are priced based on: proximity to Queen’s, recent renovations, amenities and features. We manage a wide range of properties to suit many different budgets.
Quality Management
Our team consists of highly-talented housing professionals from an array of educational backgrounds and experiences, including Queen’s parents, students and alumni. Their customized approach reflects an understanding of the unique demands facing students. This has led to many "firsts" in the areas of customer service. For example: HIGHPOINT Developments and Management launched the very first tenant loyalty party in the history of Queen’s U.
As a reflection of the confidence we’ve earned within the community, HIGHPOINT Management and Development is a proud member of the Queen’s Landlord Contract Program. To gain admission, our units underwent inspections by an independent third-party to ensure they complied with the City of Kingston’s property standards by-law. We met expectations of: pest prevention, structural soundness, windows and doors, kitchens, walls, ceilings, floors, egress, steps, handrails, heating systems, bathrooms, ventilation and yards. Upon acceptance, we agreed to adhere to the property standards which offer quality, safe and comfortable homes for Queens’ students.

To ensure our homes are cutting edge, HIGHPOINT’s team travels throughout Canada studying products and working with experts of all backgrounds including top architects, designers, renovators etc. As an annual event, we attend the Property Management Exposition at the Toronto Conference Center. Our research there allows us to target today’s collegiate’s specific wants and needs and anticipate future trends in student housing.
